Sunday Best: Easter Edition

I hope each of you had a fabulous Easter! My family enjoyed remembering Christ's death and celebrating his resurrection this weekend. Mommy was overwhelmed yesterday as her voice joined with hundreds of other voices to declare that "There is a fountain filled with blood drawn from Emmanuel's veins; and sinners plunged beneath that flood loose all their guilty stains." How grateful she is that her scarlet sins have been made white as snow!

You may notice that this post is a day late. That may have something to do with the fact that Mommy had 754 pictures to search through from the last 3 days. Here are some of my favorites from that bunch.

On Friday night, I went over to Mimi and Poppy's house to dye Easter eggs. Honestly, it didn't really capture my fancy so much...maybe next year.

My heart, however, was captured by this guy. Mimi and Poppy gave me this little bunny in my Easter basket.

An egg hunt was attempted in the backyard, but I was more interested in playing with Poppy's rocks than picking up plastic eggs.

On Saturday, my family took Jason (our Little Brother) to the lake for our city's Easter Eggstravaganza. Jason's favorite part of our outing was skipping rocks in the lake. He is a really good rock skipper!

Mommy helped me find a few candy eggs. I don't know why, though...she won't let me eat any of them!

After the Eggstravaganza, my family rode our bikes over to Gramma and Grampa's house. I had a great time exploring in their backyard and carrying this duck (from
Doreen Cronin's books) all around.

Gramma and Grampa gave me some Easter treats, too. One of my favorites is this toddler proof photo album of the
Moss family pics we had taken this summer in Wisconsin. I've looked through it about 10 times already!

Then, at church yesterday, my family took this fun picture with some of our bestest friends. It is, of course, nearly impossible to get 4 little ones all looking at the same place at the same time...but we tried anyway!
Yesterday was Leila's church debut and I was so glad to have here there! Her presence evens the playing field with those Ortiz boys.

Here's my whole family (minus the
Kerrville dwellers)!

As you can tell, it was another rough day in the nursery. Mommy says I'll enjoy Easter service a lot more when I truly understand that Jesus is risen!

754!! I thought we had a lot (maybe 300, max!) I worked for hours after all the company left yesterday to organize, edit, and post some pics, but it still may not get done til tomorrow or Wednesday!

Glad you had a happy Easter. (I did end up finding a smocked bishop for Kate on ebay for $10.50, including shipping!) Katelyn looks adorable, as usual!
