Solids? Eh, not so much.

On Wednesday, Mommy and Daddy let me try rice cereal. At this point, I do not have a very high opinion of that stuff.

This morning, I wouldn't even let Mommy get the cereal anywhere near my mouth. So, she decided to ditch the 5-day-wait rule and mashed up some avacado. I thought I liked it at first, but then changed my mind after about 8 seconds.

Mommy is being really patient with me, but I just wish she would stop trying to give me this nasty stuff.

Play Time

Dress Rehearsal

Mommy is going to let me start solids this week! She decided to do it one week early so that we've had lots of practice by the time we go to Canada next month.

To get me ready for the big change, I got to sit in my high chair for the first time yesterday morning. I checked it out while Mommy ate her breakfast...it's not too bad!

My Friend Judah

Last week I finally got to meet Judah Coop. His mommy and daddy are good friends with my mommy and daddy, and we were born just 5 days apart! Here is a picture of us hanging out at Mimi's house.

I wasn't in a very good mood when Judah was around, so he's probably telling everyone in San Antonio that I am a cry baby! Maybe I'll be a happier girl the next time we see each other.

Moss Family Pictures

Here area few pictures from our Moss family photo shoot. I was being a Kate-a-saurus when we had the pictures taken, but our photographer was really nice to me. She gave me lots of breaks and worked really hard to get me to smile.

Wondering Where I've Been?

Last week I was in Wisconsin for a big Moss family reunion. I had a great time there! It was so nice to meet my great grandparents, uncles and aunts, and cousins. There were some important milestones that I reached on this trip:

First airplane ride

Rocking on all fours (for a few seconds) when placed on my tummy

First time in a high chair

I was a really good girl on the trip, too...minus the last two nights, anyway! By that time I had figured out that my mommy won't let me cry in my crib when we are at a hotel. With this new-found information, I managed to stay in her arms all night long!

Here is a picture of me chilling next to my second cousin, Addison. She is seven months old and already gets to eat solid foods. Watching her enjoy those fruits and veggies made me jealous...but mommy says I have to wait two more weeks.

My mommy says I can put more pictures up after she gets them from Daddy's laptop.

My 5th on the 4th

Today was my 5th monthday! Here are some things you should know about me at 5 months:

Rolling from belly to back on purpose now

Can sit up "tripod" style

Love to play with light switches... getting good at turning them off

Favorite toy is a stuffed horse my Auntie gave me

Favorite song is "Old MacDonald"

Pool Redo

I change my mind about swimming, too. It is a fantastic invention.

Jumperoo Redo

I changed my mind about that Jumperoo thing. It's really not so bad, after all!
