I hope your Labor Day has been as fun as mine!
(Mommy and I like to think of clever ways to entertain each other while waiting for Daddy to wake up.)
This morning, my whole Dallas-dwelling family met at a local park for a little bike riding, hot dog eating, and park playing.
The park just happened to have a glorious little thing called a sandbox. Have you ever been in one of those things? They are awesome, I tell you! Mommy and Daddy are thinking there needs to be a beach vacation in our future (you know, since I'm not trying to eat the gritty stuff anymore).
The grownups in my family were quite impressed with my climbing capabilities today. There wasn't a table, staircase, or scaling wall that I didn't try to take on.
Slides, however, are another story. I'm pretty picky about those things.

Kate had her first sandbox experience today too. We set her down, she fell forward, and the moment her hands hit the sand, she started quivering, like "get it off!!" Once she was outside the sandbox, just leaning in with the shovel, she was fine, but did NOT want to be sitting in it!
Sounds like a great Labor Day! Austin's funny about slides too. He LOVES his slide at home (we have a wooden playset) but he refuses to slide down a slide at all playgrounds. . . silly
