Happy Monthday to Me!

I turned 17 months old yesterday!  You're probably wondering when I'm going to give up on the monthday updates.  All I can tell you is that it won't be any time soon.

Here are some things you should know about me at 17 months:

I wear a size 4 diaper, 12-18 month clothes, and size 5 shoes (although they are sometimes a bit big on me).

I've started to "sing".  The jury is still out on which parent's musical abilities I've inherited.

I like to "read" books by myself.  Did you know that almost every page of every book says, "Da b'da b'da b'daba"?

This past month I learned to speak 38 new words.  Here are my family's favorites:

"I no no" (I don't know)

Mommy

Daddy

Elmo

Howdy

Happy

"Nigh nigh" (night night)

I can now sign "sorry" and "airplane".

Puppets just might be my new favorite toy.

 

I'm learning what "obey" means.  More importantly, I'm learning how to do it!
